The new Skindred album You Got This has got this, by which we mean their first-ever #1 record in the U.K.

The Welsh band's latest effort has debuted at the top of the U.K. Official Albums Chart.

"All of us in the band are absolutely blown away by the amazing reaction and support to our new album," Skindred tells Official Charts. "We want to say thank you to everyone that came out this week to buy a copy, especially all of those in our extended family in the rock and metal communities."

The title of You Got This reflects "a positive message to everyone going through a tough time, or suffering with their mental health," Skindred says.

"It's a message also of belief, to hopefully help empower every young band or artist, and to help them to keep going and push on through," Skindred says. "So to be the first Welsh Ragga Metal Punk band from Newport to hit Number 1 really is a special moment. It really is a Fairytale of Newport."

You Got This was released on April 17. Its title track charted on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay tally.

Settlement reached over Black Sabbath's early Earth recordings, says Sharon Osbourne

Sharon Osbourne says that a settlement has been reached over Black Sabbath's early recordings when their band name was Earth.

In 2025, news surfaced that the label Big Bear Recordings, founded by early Sabbath manager Jim Simpson, was set to release an album of Earth recordings. Sharon, the widow and manager of late Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, later posted a statement along with emails to Simpson saying that the band members agreed that they did not want the Earth recordings to be released.

In the latest episode of The Osbournes Podcast, Sharon says, "We settled with Jim Simpson and the band now have their demos back."

"All four of them own it, which is where it should be," Sharon adds, presumably referring to the Sabbath members. "All of that stuff should be theirs."

As for what will happen with the recordings, Sharon says, "We're gonna talk about what everybody wants to do with it, and we'll go from there."

"Thank you to Jim, he did the right thing," Sharon continues. "At the end of the day he did the right thing for the band."

Elsewhere in the podcast, Sharon says that tickets for the return of Ozzfest, which is expected to happen in 2027, are set to go on sale in November.

The long-running festival was last held on New Year's Eve 2018, which marked Ozzy's final full-live performance before the 2025 Back to the Beginning concert, during which he performed solo and reunited with Sabbath. Ozzy died just over two weeks after Back to the Beginning at age 76.

Metallica has shared a tribute to late conductor Michael Tilson Thomas, who passed away on Wednesday.

The metal legends had collaborated with Thomas on their 2019 S&M2 concerts, which featured them performing alongside the Thomas-conducted San Francisco Symphony.

"It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of legendary conductor Michael Tilson Thomas," Metallica writes in a Facebook post. "A towering figure in classical music, many of you became familiar with the man known as MTT when he worked with us as a major driving force in the development and live performances of the S&M2 shows in San Francisco in September of 2019."

"We cherished our time with MTT and learned so much working with him to prepare the S&M2 performances," the post continues. "It was a very high honor to have him on the podium for our shows. He will be sorely missed."

BVB's Andy Biersack teases 'earnest, tangible and tactile rock show' for US tour

Mother, tell your children not to walk my way, and also tell Andy Biersack how to play a rock show.

The Black Veil Brides frontman tells ABC Audio that he was inspired by the video for the Danzig classic "Mother" in approaching his band's upcoming U.S. tour, kicking off Saturday in Riverside, California.

"What we really wanted for this tour was to stylistically bring back a feeling of kind of a classic rock show in a tangible way," Biersack says. "I love the LED walls and all of the kinda modern technology, but there's something that I miss about, like, fabricated big a** logos and stacks of amps and all that kind of stuff."

"It feels like everybody's in a race to find out what the new screen that they can put onstage is," he continues. "So we took the time to have somebody fabricate a gigantic metal logo and build all these staging amps and all this stuff. So the idea is to give people a very earnest, tangible and tactile rock show in that way."

The tour will support the upcoming Black Veil Brides album, VINDICATE, and Biersack says you can expect to hear a lot of new songs during the shows.

"I think this is the most new material we've ever done on a tour to support a record," Biersack says.

Still, they don't plan to skimp on the classics.

"We're not a band that likes to screw over our fans, we like to play the songs that they wanna hear," Biersack says. "[It'll be] a nice, big, long set list with a lot of new songs, as well."

VINDICATE is due out May 8.

Muse shares new song 'Cryogen' from upcoming album, 'The Wow! Signal'

'The Wow! Signal' album artwork. (Warner Records)

Muse has premiered a new song called "Cryogen," a track off the band's upcoming album, The Wow! Signal.

"After a squelching intro, Muse let loose a sky-scraping spiral of guitar before plunging into a roiling pool of smashing drums, grinding bass, and dramatic vocals," a press release says of "Cryogen." "Throughout it all, [frontman] Matt Bellamy paints a vivid picture of a man so deep in the thrall of another that he’s envisioned his tormentor as a frozen moon of Jupiter, and himself as a lost speck on the surface."

To hear exactly what that sounds like, "Cryogen" is out now via digital outlets. A video is "landing soon," Muse says.

The Wow! Signal, the follow-up to 2022's Will of the People, is due out June 26. It also includes the singles "Be With You" and "Unravelling."

Muse will launch a U.S. tour in July.

Hit play on new Foo Fighters album, 'Your Favorite Toy'

No need to ask a friend, we can tell you that the new Foo Fighters album is here.

Your Favorite Toy, the 12th studio effort from the "Everlong" outfit, is out now. It's the follow-up to 2023's But Here We Are, and arrives after a couple tumultuous years for Dave Grohl and company.

In September 2024, Grohl shared that he'd fathered a child outside his marriage, and the Foos canceled their remaining scheduled show. Then in May 2025, drummer Josh Freese, who'd joined Foo Fighters in 2023 following the 2022 death of Taylor Hawkins, announced that he'd been fired from the band.

The Foos officially reemerged in July 2025 with the single "Today's Song." They returned to the live stage in September 2025, which marked the debut of their new drummer, Ilan Rubin, formerly of Nine Inch Nails.

Another new song, "Asking for a Friend," arrived in October 2025, before the Foos finally announced Your Favorite Toy in February and released its shouty title track. Two more songs, "Caught in the Echo" and "Of All People," followed.

In addition to working through the tumult in new music, Grohl says he started going to therapy.

"I've been in therapy six days a week for 70 weeks," Grohl told The Guardian in an interview published in March. "I did the math the other day: over 430 sessions."

Foo Fighters will celebrate the arrival of Your Favorite Toy on Saturday with a performance on Saturday Night Live UK. They will play a one-off show in Bridgeport, Connecticut, on April 28, followed by headlining sets at the Welcome to Rockville and BottleRock Napa festivals in May. They'll launch a full North American stadium tour in August.

A new documentary about blink-182 drummer Travis Barker is set to premiere on Hulu.

The film is called Travis Barker: Louder than Fear and is due out in the summer.

"Travis personally called about this doc to say, 'I want to tell this story … I was in this plane crash that I walked away from, and it fundamentally changed me,'" Disney executive Rob Mills tells TheWrap.

Barker was a passenger on a plane that crashed in 2008, killing four people. He and his friend Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein were the only survivors. Goldstein later died in 2009.

Barker suffered burns and underwent multiple surgeries. He also developed PTSD from the crash, and dealt with survivor's guilt.

For a long time after the crash Barker refused to fly and would even take boats to international gigs. Barker's since started flying again and has credited his wife, Kourtney Kardashian, for the encouragement.

Disney is the parent company of ABC News and Hulu.

50th anniversary of Ramones' debut album to be marked by yearlong celebration

Ramones self-titled debut (Rhino Entertainment)

Thursday marks the 50th anniversary of the release of the Ramones' self-titled debut album, and the milestone will be celebrated throughout the year.

One of those celebrations is the July 4 world premiere of the only authorized exhibition dedicated to the Ramones at The Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas. The exhibit was organized and curated by the museum in collaboration with Linda Ramone, wife of the late Johnny Ramone, and Ramones Productions Inc. It will include performances, artist conversations and interactive experiences.

According to a press release, the exhibit "connects audiences to the Ramones' legacy, cultural impact, and continuing aftershock across music, art, design, and public memory."

The upcoming year will also include physical Ramones releases and reissues from Rhino. In addition, newly remastered videos for “I Wanna Be Sedated,” “Rock N Roll High School,” “Sheena Is a Punk Rocker" and more have now been released on the Ramones' official YouTube page.

Released April 23, 1976, Ramones was recorded in one week, opening with what would become a Ramones classic: “Blitzkrieg Bop.” While Ramones wasn't a commercial success, only making it to #111 on the Billboard charts, it was a hit with critics and went on to be considered one of the most influential punk records in the U.S. It has also landed on several best-of lists, including Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

'Vindicate' album artwork. (Spinefarm)

Black Veil Brides have premiered a new song called "Revenger," a track off the band's upcoming album, VINDICATE.

"Revenger" features guest vocals from Robb Flynn of Machine Head.

"I have always been interested in the sort of ethical dilemma that we have culturally of cheering for justice," says BVB frontman Andy Biersack in a statement. "I thought it would be an interesting exercise to write lyrics from the perspective of someone who is trying to seek out the ultimate form of justice."

Biersack continues, "Because I was writing from someone else's voice, this felt like the kind of song that would be best served by having someone else's voice on the song. So, we brought in Robb Flynn of Machine Head."

VINDICATE, the seventh Black Veil Brides album, is due out May 8. It also includes the previously released songs "Certainty," "Bleeders," "Hallelujah" and the title track.

Black Veil Brides will launch a U.S. tour Saturday in Riverside, California.

Alter Bridge will launch a U.S. tour Saturday in Orlando, Florida. The band will be supporting their new, self-titled album, which means Myles Kennedy and company now have 12 more songs they could possibly add to the set list.

"You have songs as a fan you're gonna wanna hear, we can't not play 'Blackbird,'" Kennedy tells ABC Audio. "But when you have now eight records, it's a delicate dance. How do you incorporate all those tracks with some new tracks?"

For this tour, Kennedy says Alter Bridge will likely be leaning on the very new and the very old.

"What we're gonna do is we're gonna play obviously some of the newer stuff," Kennedy says. "We're also gonna go back and do some real old stuff that we haven't done in a long time, kinda pepper those in the set."

Kennedy also hopes the shows will feature some new visual elements reflective of the Alter Bridge album.

"You're always just trying to make it interesting," Kennedy says. "Especially [because] we have such an incredible, die-hard fanbase."

The album Alter Bridge is out now. It includes the single "Silent Divide."

Openers for Alter Bridge's tour include Filter, Sevendust and Tim Montana, depending on the date.
