Media One Radio Group (WWSE, WJTN, WHUG, WKSN, WQFX, WKZA) attends job and career fairs, accommodates intern's and job shadow's, speak to students ranging between elementary and college age and are involved in community service functions, all in an attempt to disseminate specific and general information in regards to job openings and careers in broadcasting. When we do have job openings we minimally run advertising on six radio stations over every day part announcing the opening. We also send notice to all of those on current recruitment list. Full-Time Marketing Executive

Media One Radio Group is on the lookout for our next great Account Executive.

Full-Time Sales Executives (Work in your area!)
1099 contractor opportunities for those who enjoys working with local businesses, setting appointments, prospecting, and supporting revenue growth — while maintaining the flexibility of independent contract work.

You'll be responsible to:

Prospect and call on businesses in your local area.
Develop new business through cold calling, networking, and referrals
Sell current promotions, sponsorship opportunities, and long-term radio advertising campaigns
Research potential clients across all industries
Create, present, and close advertising proposals
Maintain and grow existing advertising accounts
Work with our production team to develop effective commercial copy
Maintain accurate records and assist with account collections when necessary

2026 Paid Internship

The New York State Broadcasters Association offers a highly acclaimed PAID Internship Program to WWSE/WJTN/WHUG/WKSN/WKZA/WQFX.

This wonderful opportunity provides interns with the chance to gain first-hand knowledge of the various aspects of the broadcasting business. It is the intent of this program to actively recruit and hire interns that are interested in pursuing a career in broadcasting who are at least 17 years of age and are residents of New York State or are registered to attend school in New York State.
