Molitor discusses reason for running for State Assembly... and, two key issues...
Public safety and affordability are the main issues why the Republican and Conservative parties candidate for New York's 150th Assembly District is running for office. Westfield's Andrew Molitor is running for the seat currently held by retiring Assemblyman Andy Goodell. In the area of public safety, Molitor -- who is currently Chautauqua County First Assistant District Attorney -- wants to reverse laws that he says have made it easier for criminals to get away with crimes. When it comes to affordability... the Westfield Republican says the first thing he would do is cut back on regulations in Albany that have made it difficult for area businesses to operate. An example he gave is the Scaffold Law... which has helped to drive up insurance costs. Molitor is running against Fredonia Democrat Michael Bobseine.
