Hochul to deliver "State of the State" address this afternoon with re-election campaign ready to heat up...
Governor Kathy Hochul is preparing to fully unveil her agenda for New York in 2026 this afternoon.  Hochul will deliver her annual State of the State Address in Albany.  State Senator George Borrello says he expects Hochul to "rattle her saber" and appease those on the far left regarding President Donald Trump and federal cuts.  The Sunset Bay Republican says he hopes that she comes forward with proposals to make the state more affordable... which he calls the "number-one concern."  But, he believes she's going to propose more spending.  Assemblyman Andrew Molitor says he'll be looking for policies that will address rising energy costs in New York.  The Westfield Republican says his worry is that Hochul will move to a moderate position this year... including the slow-down of meeting the state's climate goals that have driven up energy prices.  Hochul's State of the State Address will begin at 1 p.m. today in Albany.
