Officials with the Lucille Ball Center of Comedy have pulled off a "coup" in landing legendary comedian and retired "Tonight Show" host Jay Leno to be the main headliner at this year's Lucille Ball Comedy Festival.  The annoucement was made Wednesday afternoon at Jamestown Gateway Train Station by Center Director Journey Gunderson.  Gunderson says they're "very excited" about getting the 63 year-old Leno... who'll appear Saturday night, Aug. 9.  She adds it took a lot of "persistance and patience" to land the still very-popular entertainer.  Gunderson adds that landing Leno... just two months after he retired from "The Tonight Show..." is "fantastic."  Since they were able to book him... center officials have worked with the Gebbie Foundation and the Jamestown Savings Bank Arena to allow him a bigger venue.  They'll host the performance in Rink "A" of the arena... which... with floor seating... can hold 2,200 people.  Gunderson says Leno still enjoys doing stand-up... and, interacting with the audience.  Before Leno takes the stage... she says Lucie Arnaz... the daughter of the late Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz... will do a short, musical performance.  Pre-sale tickets for the festival go on sale for center members, sponsors and supporters this coming Friday... and, the Public pre-sale begins at Noon on Friday, April 18.
