Students Spread Holiday Cheer with Creative Ornament Project in Warren County

In Warren County, a delightful holiday spirit is taking shape as students from Tidioute Community Charter School and the Warren County Career Center band together for an ornament-making project. This effort, spearheaded by Lisa Card from the Warren County Visitors Bureau, is more than just a crafting session; it’s a significant community endeavor, showcasing the creativity and skills of the students while benefiting their schools at the same time.

The students used CAD technology to design their ornaments, tapping into the wood provided by generous local businesses like Sabella Forest Products. While they got their hands dirty creating these festive decorations, they also extracted valuable lessons about collaboration and community involvement. As Tidioute senior Cameron Kibbey shared, there’s something truly fulfilling about giving back, even in small ways.

The ornaments, available for a modest donation of five dollars, serve both as beautiful decorations and a means to support local education. They can be found at the Warren County Visitors Bureau and additional shops across the region. The excitement is palpable, as students and community members come together, proving yet again that teamwork really can create something special. Who knew holiday cheer could also help schools? The holidays just got a whole lot better!
